Tracce e Palinsesti – November 15, 2015

Aventa welcomes the acclaimed Vancouver composer Giorgio Magnanensi as guest conductor and curator for this event. In curating Tracce e Palinsesti, Magnanensi pays homage to three Italian composers who continue to influence and inspire his work and activity.

Magnanensi envisions the evening as a continuous flow of music, live electronics and video. The audience will be immersed in the theatrical quality of sound, performance gesture and sound figures that emerge within the flow of variable sonic landscapes. Works are interlocked through the use of sound panels, transitions and resonances, which coalesce to inspire the creation of Magnenensi’s new work, TDU XX.
